Joint meeting of the Public-Private Working Group for Strengthening of Press and of the State Registration Chamber24/09/2008
A joint meeting of journalists, carrying out investigations, and nongovernmental mass-media organizations of the Republic of Moldova, took place on September 19, 2008, within one of the Government halls. Mr. Vitalie Palega, chief of Analytical and Organizational Directorate of the State Registration Chamber, participated at the meeting. The issues discussed referred to the free of charge access of mass-media organizations to the data of the State Registers of legal entities and private entrepreneurs.

Legislation changes01/07/2008
The Government Decision No. 926 from 12.07.2002 “On approval of paid services tariffs, offered by the State Registration Chamber of the Ministry of Information Development” has been modified and completed by the Government Decision No. 718 from 16.06.2008.
The modifications foresee the possibility of the State Registration Chamber to provide information from the State Register of legal entities and the State Register of private entrepreneurs within one hour. Therefore, the price of extract issue from the State Register increases threefold. -

As a result of certain entrepreneur patents expiry starting from 2007, State Chamber of Registration of the Ministry of Information Development additionally informs that according to Appendixes of part (2) article 4 of the Law on State registration of enterprises and organizations, state registration is made cost-free in case when individual entrepreneurs and natural persons that stopped their activity on the basis of entrepreneur patent expiration term stated in part (2) article 18 in the Appendix to the Law regarding entrepreneur patent.

According to the Law nr. 208-XVI from July,7 2006, some amendments were introduced in Law nr.1265-XIV from October, 5 2000, regarding state registration of enterprises and organizations - paragraph (2) article 4, where the Chamber of State Registration realizes state registration, as individual entrepreneur, of physical persons who stopped their activity on the basis of entrepreneurial patent because of the expiration of time fixed in art.18 paragraph (2) and in the annex to the Law nr.93-XIV from July, 15 1998 regarding entrepreneurial patent.

Opera and ballet theatre welcomed the jubilee weddings09/01/2006
For the first time in the history of the Republic of Moldova in current June was held the republican contest “Solemn registration of jubilee weddings”. As in any contest, the best wins. The participants at the ceremony were the couples, who have been married for 20, 40, 50 and 60 years. Under the initiative of the Minister of Information Development of the Republic of Moldova in collaboration with local public administration, four regional zonal stages of the contest were held in Basarabeasca, Telenesti, Floresti and Riscani.
